Give it away Forum : As the name suggests, everything advertised on Give it away! must be free - whether it's an old sofa, unwanted CDs, or even a few hours' help in the garden. Anyone interested simply replies by Private Message (PM): deal done. You must be a member of the North East Forum to participate in this scheme.

Bishop Auckland Forum, West Auckland Forum and Shildon Forum. Anything to do with the Aucklands, or the historic railway town of Shildon. Shildon now has a spanking new railway museum and Bishop Auckland is associated with Stan Laurel as well as having had a cracking football team in the 1950's. West Auckland were the first winners of the World Cup.

Consett Forum, Annfield Plain Forum and Stanley Forum. Any Consett/Annfield Plain/Stanley gossip goes here. A new area for those living in and around Consett in Co. Durham. The town that was famous for it's steelworks has now been completely transformed. Take note Kenneth Clarke.

Crook Forum, Willington Forum and Tow Law Forum. Any Crook/Willington/Tow Law gossip and information goes here. Crook Town were famous as a football team in the 50's, and Tow Law must be one of the coldest places known to man. Anything going on at the moment?.

Darlington Forum and Newton Aycliffe Forum : Anything to do with Darlington, Aycliffe or the surrounding areas. Darlo is a Quaker town in the south of the region, famous for being at one end of the Stockton to Darlington railway. Newton Aycliffe is a newtown that has one of the biggest industrial parks in The North East.

Durham City Forum and Chester le Street Forum. Posts concerning the historic city of Durham City and Chester-le-Street. Durham City is a fantastic place, with the Cathedral and Castle dominating the skyline for miles around. It's also a very good place to go out on the pop. Chester-le-Street, a few miles north has an excellent market and dates from Roman times.

Newcastle Forum, Tyneside Forum and Tynedale Forum. The obligatory Geordie forum for happenings on both sides of the River Tyne. The Toon has a UK reputation as a party city, but also has a long and colourful history. If you like your lasses scantily clad, especially during spells of severe winter weather, look no further than Newcastle.

Sedgefield Forum, Fishburn Forum and Trimdon Forum : What's going on in the Sedgefield, Fishburn and Trimdon areas. This is Tony Blair's constituency and the people around here tend to be fierce Labour Party supporters. Fishburn used to have a smelly Coke works, but is now a much nicer place to live.

Sunderland Forum, Wearside Forum and Weardale Forum : Anything at all to do with Sunderland and the Wearside area. Sunderland has recently become a city and has a fantastic sea front development overlooking the North Sea and is also home to the famous Sunderland Glassworks. Everything is painted red and white!.

Teesside Forum, Hartlepool Forum and Teesdale Forum : Any Tees-side, Middlesbrough, Stockton or Hartlepool gossip goes here. Also anywhere from the Tees Valley. The town that hung the French monkey now has a posh Marina and Harbour, but the people still sound like scousers.

West Cornforth Forum and Coxhoe Forum : Anything to do with West Cornforth, Coxhoe or surrounding areas. Doggie is famous for being asked 'Why is it called Doggie then?'. Share your views and yarns here.
