Hope the fete was finished before that deluge came through! No rainfall figures yet, but I think they'll be substatial for such a short period of time.

EDIT : Figures just in - 15.6mm of rain in less than 30 minutes between 7-7:30 pm. That's heavy !!!

30+ mm in total by midnight. One of the wettest August days of the past 10 years.

Thanks for having a word with the boss for us! The fete went really well and the weather was dry!!

We just wrapped up when it started to come down.

Thanks again for your kindly words, we raised over £700 today for local causes and The British Lung Foundation.
