I have seen this name a few times, and I'm told there was a Lord and Lady Surtees, who lived in Bp. Middleton.

Anybody know if the title still exists?

I believe Surtees was one of Wellington's officers during the Penninsular Campaign of the Napolionic wars (1808 - 1814)
