Anyone in Ferryhill suffering with low mains water pressure today?

My power shower won't work. It doesn't recognise the throughput to register as needing to heat the water, and it took half an hour to run a 3" deep bath instead.  Evil or Very Mad

Think I need a plumber in the New Year ????

The low water pressure has returned. It's been low for about 4 days. Having a shower is a cross between being boiled alive and frozen to death. The New Year problems were blamed on low levels in a backup reservoir. My bill has gone up today. I'll be ringing Northumbrian Water and playing hell this morning.

Northumbrian Water guy came out today and tested the pressure and told me they are looking for a leak on my supply line that they know is there, but they haven't been able to find. He said they've been looking for two weeks. He said all i can do is bear with them until they find it. Boil and Freeze cycle continues Neutral

Improvement today. The shower stayed hot for 10 whole minutes! Things are looking up.  Cool

The water pressure is now much improved today. Tell tale brown water then spluttering air, then good strong flow. The shower heater light now comes on and it seems to be good again. Let's see if it holds this time.

Well not sure where abouts you live but there was a fairly huge water leak at the bottom of the estate, down past the leisure centre, water seems to of stopped pouring out now but lights and barriers are still up so might not be sorted yet.

I think that probably has something to do with it. I'm in that area of Ferryhill.
