I think its just another way of getting the revenue back  ?

Looked what happened to Bishop Auckland town centre when people had to pay to park ?

I was at Hardwick Park last week very impressive, and unless my eyesight is failing me, I think they have dropped the idea of charging to park there (if they ever were going to) there were no machines or signs etc. Nice free place to visit !

Not a fan of the Metro

rather have to be dragged there than go on my own steam  ( if I average once every two years is good enough for me)

Free parking is what everyone wants...  and its still is free at the Metrocentre

I think the charges being made for the Halloween event are ridiculous. £ 20 for a family ticket booked before or £ 30 on the night
Great if the weather is ok but at the end of October it is a bit of a gamble and to stump up £20 and then find it has been washed out is a bit much.

This is only an evening event, not all day.
Hardwick Hall Park Halloween Event was always good fun and very reasonably priced but now......
I won`t be going.

Sadly all events are costing at least £20 for a family to get into ?

I used to go to the Barnard steam fairs and truck shows  but that started to get silly money and havent been for years

Was hoping to go to beamish with the family,  till I saw the prices online   £36  for three of us

Was a member of the National trust,  but never reapplied this year

The best days out are free...     Shildon train museum ( although spoilt my childhood memories of Hackworth house)  is a good walk out

A walk in the park ...    or grab some rubbery carrot and a soft apple  and feed the horses in a nearby field does us at present

Dont have a car no more so local cheap days out

I am sure I will be buying a huge turnip or pumpkin to hollow out this year to keep them happy

I think they're still intedning to charge to park at Hardwick Park, eventually when everything is all finished.

The Halloween event is very pricey this year, a lot of money for just a couple of hours, such a shame
