thankfully it was frozen solid so it didn't stick!

That could have been even more dangerous as you could have stubbed your toe - worse still, instead of squishing into the tread of your boot, if frozen it would have just rolled and then you would have found yourself flat on your a*se.

Some dog owners really are very inconsiderate.

This is all the EU's fault I tell you. This would not be such a problem if we still fed our dogs the same stuff we did in the 70's.

You see half of that doo doo in ferryhill would be crumbly and white.

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO WHITE DOG POO?

So.. the EU decided in their idiocy that dog food must be made to the same standards as human food. If it is in a tin it has to be edible.

Funny that I was just in Ken warnes, supermarket of quality, thinking to myself; I fancy some bounce for lunch.

Anyway that was the end of white crumbly poo for all dogs but travel outside the EU and you still see it. crumbling away like an albino wheatabix.

If you had that along the road Bossman, you would simply need to blow your shoe clean. Laughing

I always thought it was one of the biggest mysteries ever, white dog poo. You were even confident enough to kick it out of the way.

I've solved the mystery! Whenever you go to a certain popular pizza restaurant, and sample their soft-serve icecream.....just think about this discussion!  Wink

I think the actual reason was calcification. You see the old dog food had lots of crushed bones in it and thus the poo plop didn't. it poo smashed.

it left the exit hole and smashed on the ground due to calcification.!

Can you imagine the look on your face if your poo was white and crumbly? poor old rover. i think the look on that poor german shepherds face was similar to one of our emoticons the first time he smashed a bowel growler.....  Shocked

I'm glad to say the situation is now much improved. There is no evidence at all in Dean Road at the moment. Hopefully this is also the case in the rest of Ferryhill.

Doggy Doo? Doggy Doo? Whats all this fuss about. As a kid I walked Dean Road every day - I lived ther No 41 and all you needed to do was keep your eyes open and navigate ast the piles. Anyway in my humble opinion you have never lived if you have not felt dog **** between your toes. We were or at least I was a bit short on footwear in those days.
