then again why should they have to do it anyway...dog owners should take responsibility themselves....

I think the problem is with the dogs that take walks without an owner attached. Stray dogs will take a dump anywhere, but usually on a pavement when the urge takes them. How many dog catchers have we got?

Sounds like you did not like Meadowfield very well. Laughing

Lived there for 20 years, fine for most of it but then went downhill in my opinion. Too many young dickheads started appearing..... Rolling Eyes

Nearly two months on and the situation hasn't really improved in Dean Road, Ferryhill. Still lots of dog-doo about.  Crying or Very sad

Don't know about you, but I think the state of the pavements in Ferryhill is a disgrace. They are covered in dog excreta!

I walk Dean Road every morning and it seems to be plastered in the stuff, especially at the Broom end of the road. Did a quick count this morning and based on a 'group the poop' tactic, there were 15 different areas where you could mess your shoes if not taking care. That was just the South side of the road!

I think this should be brought to the attention of the Council, as it seems that none of our pavements EVER get cleaned. Much was made about trying to get chewing gum off our pavements, well what about dog doos?

Sorry that was me coming back from the manor on a Weds night. Embarassed

You should see the state of the alley between Dale Street and Eden Terrace in Chilton. I stepped in a turd the other night, thankfully it was frozen solid so it didn't stick!  Cool
