Don't know about you, but I think the state of the pavements in Ferryhill is a disgrace. They are covered in dog excreta!

I walk Dean Road every morning and it seems to be plastered in the stuff, especially at the Broom end of the road. Did a quick count this morning and based on a 'group the poop' tactic, there were 15 different areas where you could mess your shoes if not taking care. That was just the South side of the road!

I think this should be brought to the attention of the Council, as it seems that none of our pavements EVER get cleaned. Much was made about trying to get chewing gum off our pavements, well what about dog doos?

perhaps this is due to the traditional dog walking areas in Dean Road/Broom now being a housing estate.

Are there any of those red bins around for people to put the dog muck into? Mind you, I bet that not even they would stop some people from letting their dogs do their business.

Chewing gum is a particular problem around Ferryhill too - why on earth can people not put it in the bin?

Dogs are the least of our worries in Chilton...

Walked out my door tonight only to see a gang of kids, one of whom was p*ssing in someone's doorway  Shocked

That really makes me angry. Total lack of respect for anyone else's possesions. I wonder what their parents would do if I were to p*ss down their front door?!

Do the council employ someone to pick up the dog pooh?

Yes they do...they have one machine for the whole of Sedgefield Borough !   then again why should they have to do it anyway...dog owners should take responsibility themselves....and dont forget all the new Neighbourhood Wardens are now empowered to issue fixed penalty notices !
